This magazine cover has its title in the top left corner in bold white text with a red background which appears to be a conventional theme of real-life magazines. This contrasts again the bright blue background that is behind it to make it stand out more. Above this is where they have informed their audience about the prizes they can win. This will entice the audience to buy it even if they have no interest in the stories involved. If they have that chance of winning one time, they are likely to continue to buy it at the chance of winning again. This is more designed for the lower-class due to them using this as a way to get extra income. The title of this magazine is in the top left corner with the price displayed above it. The colour of the title is red, and this could be used to gain the attraction of the eye since it’s a primary colour, but this could be used to show its audience that this will have adult themes and stories in that are inappropriate for a younger audience. The colours used in this are bright, vibrant and include red, yellow, pink and purple. Due to these colours, it also means that it is likely to appeal to a female audience. The coverlines and images also only relate to females meaning that it isn’t likely that male audience are going to purchase this product. The cover on this magazine differentiates itself by having the title be designed as police to fit the stories they want to tell. The colours of the magazines title are black and yellow which match the title of “Crime Scene” because the background is police tape further showing a lot of bad stories are being highlighted. Each story on the cover all features different colours and faces to gain the attention of potential consumers, the main colours on the cover feature bright, strong colours including red, yellow and blue, which could suggest the danger that takes place in a lot of the stories. This mean that when it is on the shelves in shops, it will stand out amongst all the other ones.
