That’s Life homepage has three initial main images with the biggest image being divided into sections that show off their latest magazines; the magazines themselves are filled with colour and don’t match with each other but create a lot of noise that you are likely to notice the new releases. The colour scheme for the full house magazine uses a few colours but are all primary colours which help attract the eye around the home page at key areas. They use a strong red for the main title and all the subcategories background to then use a white for all the text making it catch the eye and easier to see. Above the red the designers use a mustard yellow to clearly show where the other more important information such as home, contact and a careers page. For the rest of the page, they use white and grey to make the text easy to read.

The home page for ‘that’s life’ website features the typical features you would expect on a website such as a tab button in the top left, which you’d then click to show other pages on the site. This allows people to find more specific stories that they are interested in, also helps people that are not interested in the random stories that are posted but rather cooking, puzzles and/or prize giveaways. As you scroll down the home page all the featured stories that the publishers want you to see, these are also the adverts that appear on the side of your screen is an advert whilst viewing the site and its other content. The layout of the picture and the text rotates left to right depending on what side the picture is for the first few stories then changes to a standard image on the left when you get to the regular content. The website uses different a different colour scheme to the magazine or the other real-life magazines by making it look more professional and user friendly....
