Ideas For Magazines

For my magazines, the title will be displayed across the top of the page in a bold font. This is so that it is able to stand out from the background so that the people are able to see it on a shop shelf and that they will find it easily if they read it regularly. Alongside the title will also be the price and the issue of the magazine. The stories in the magazine will correspond with the issue of the magazine. For example, the winter issue is going to have winter related stories such as Christmas stories etc. The colour scheme will also match the issue to try and stick to a theme of the issue such as more cooler tones such as blues for the winter issue.

The fonts used will be in capitalised fonts for the main words relating to the story so that they stand out for the reader, and they are more intrigued and are more likely to purchase the magazine to read these stories. The font will also be in bright colour that contrast from the background that they are on so that they are clear and stand out. Underneath these will be a brief description relating to the story to give the reader a bit more insight into the stories to get them to want to read more and purchasing the magazine.

Pictures correspondent to the stories will also be positioned alongside them as a visual representation of each story. To make these stand out, I will put borders around them so that they are separate from the background. The shape of the pictures will be a mixture of circles and rectangles so that the reader can clearly differentiate from story to story.
