Analysis of Website 1

 

The home page for ‘that’s life’ website features the typical features you would expect on a website such as a tab button in the top left, which you’d then click to show other pages on the site. This allows people to find more specific stories that they are interested in, also helps people that are not interested in the random stories that are posted but rather cooking, puzzles and/or prize giveaways. As you scroll down the home page all the featured stories that the publishers want you to see, these are also the adverts that appear on the side of your screen is an advert whilst viewing the site and its other content. The layout of the picture and the text rotates left to right depending on what side the picture is for the first few stories then changes to a standard image on the left when you get to the regular content.

The website uses different a different colour scheme to the magazine or the other real-life magazines by making it look more professional and user friendly.
